The Monadnock Community Early Learning Center was started in 1970 by a group of concerned men and women seeking quality childcare in Peterborough. MCELC is committed to creating a safe, warm, loving environment for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, creatively, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. We strive to help children increase their confidence, and self-esteem by treating them as unique individuals, and allowing them to express themselves in a variety of facets. We strive to make their time at the center the best experience it can be for them as well as the parents.

Monadnock United Way is dedicated to improving lives by mobilizing diverse partners and investing in programs and people to create long-lasting, measurable change. MUW invests dollars donated by the community during our annual campaign in over 30 programs and community-building initiatives across the region addressing needs for children, education, and financial stability in each community in the Monadnock Region.
