The December Business Before Hours will be held at Filtrine Manufacturing Co., located at 15 Kit Street in Keene (behind the Best Western Plus hotel off of lower Winchester St.).  The event will be sponsored by Impact Monadnock’s Business Ambassadors (IMBA) as part of its series to inform local businesses about family friendly policies in the workplace.  There will be a brief discussion about the challenges faced by retailers and manufacturers to attract and retain employees who have young families, as well as the opportunities to improve retention through family-friendly practices. Refreshments and a raffle will be provided.  There is ample parking for all.
 
Filtrine is a family-owned manufacturer of water cooling and filtering systems for drinking and process water applications and will offer a tour of its operations. Impact Monadnock is the signature early childhood initiative of Monadnock United Way, with the mission to prepare children ages 0-5 for academic, career and life success.
