Electric Earth Concerts presents “Debussy, Saint-Saëns, Brahms” on Thursday, August 13 at 7pm at the First Church in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. A program stretching from romanticism’s peak to the present: Ernest Chausson’s magnificent Concerto for Violin, Piano, and Strings meets new works for soprano and ensemble, Paul Brantley’s “…in all this shadow land…” written at the MacDowell Colony, and Brahms’ G minor piano quartet. General admission is $30, payable online (www.electricearthconcerts.org), or via cash or check at the door.
