Monadnock Art Open Studios Art Tour
Monadnock Art Presents its 30th Annual Open Studio Art Tour and Preview Exhibition
Dublin, NH – Monadnock Art/Friends of the Dublin Art Colony presents its 30th Annual Open Studio Tour from October 10-12, 2026, and Art Tour Exhibition running from October 3 through October 31, at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture, at 19 Grove Street in downtown Peterborough. In addition, Monadnock Art will once again highlight a special exhibit, this year featuring the work of 20th century Women artists of the Monadnock region.
The Monadnock Region’s oldest Open Studio Art Tour is held each October during the peak of the colorful foliage season in southwestern New Hampshire. Art lovers from all over New England and beyond enjoy a fall weekend touring the beautiful countryside, following the distinctive orange maple leaf, and black and white Studio number signs, discovering the often tucked-away places where artists work. The Tour winds through the towns surrounding Mount Monadnock: Dublin, Hancock, Harrisville, Jaffrey, Marlborough, and Peterborough.
A full range and diversity of visual arts is represented by the work of the artists on the Tour. Visitors enjoy the unique experience of seeing the workplaces of painters, printmakers, potters, jewelers, sculptors, fiber artists, photographers, woodworkers, glass artists, and more. Artist studios will be open from 10 - 5 pm each day throughout the tour.
The Art Tour is self-directed and is free of charge for the interested public. This year’s tour will feature 82 artists in 65 studios! In addition to the Tour, the Monadnock Center for History and Culture, will host a gallery exhibit showcasing the fine works of many of the studio artists participating in the Art Tour, that will run for a four-week period, through October 31. Gallery hours will be 10 am through 4 pm during the Tour weekend. After the tour, the gallery will be open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am through 4 pm.
Printed Art Tour brochures/maps are available in stores, restaurants, and galleries throughout the region, and at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture. Maps and further information on the Tour, along with images of work by member artists, can be found on the Monadnock Art web site: www.MonadnockArt.org.
Monadnock Art/Friends of the Dublin Art Colony is a non-profit 501(c)c3 organization with a mission of celebrating the presence of the visual arts in the Monadnock Region of southwestern New Hampshire, originating with the artists who gathered in and near Dublin at the turn of the 19th century to the hundreds of artists who live and work throughout the region today.
