Swanzey Community Conversation
How can the town of Swanzey create a more welcoming environment that fosters civic pride, deepens community engagement, and encourages residents to become more involved?
To explore these important questions, the Swanzey Governance Committee is partnering with New Hampshire Humanities and the Community Development Finance Authority to host a special, interactive community conversation.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 29th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pilgrim Pines, located at 220 West Shore Road in Swanzey. All residents of Swanzey are warmly invited to attend this open dialogue.
Community leaders will facilitate discussions exploring how local traditions, town history, and shared community values can strengthen social connections and bring people together to shape the future of the town. "We want to hear directly from our residents about what makes Swanzey special and how we can ensure everyone feels welcome and empowered to get involved," said the Swanzey Governance Committee. This gathering is part of the larger Community Conversations initiative, an effort supported by New Hampshire Humanities and the Community Development Finance Authority designed to help municipalities foster resilient, engaged communities.
