Regular Part-Time: Non Exempt
Salary Range $30-$35 an hour or DOE
Reports to the Executive Director
MoCo Arts’ Fiscal Coordinator is a member of the Management Team. Responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions and providing comprehensive fiscal oversight within the context of the mission of the organization, this position requires senior level staff accountant capabilities. The job of Fiscal Coordinator is a 24-30 hour per week, non-exempt position with paid time off (PTO) and employee discount benefits.
Major responsibilities:
- Processes and analyzes financial transactions:
- Full cycle Accounts Payable, including selecting and paying bills, entering invoices and check requests.
- Process payroll, prepare federal and state payroll tax returns and computes related deposits.
- Ensure compliance with required hiring documentation.
- Works closely with Front Desk regarding Accounts Receivable, handling of cash, etc.
- Oversee record retention.
- Maintenance of accurate records of all financial activities of the organization:
- Records assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures and performs the monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepares monthly and yearly adjustments, accruals and completes closing process.
- Reviews current period general ledger to ensure accuracy and adjusts as necessary.
- Ordering supplies, postage as needed.
- Verification and validation of financial data and detailed analysis and preparation of reports:
- Assists the management team in the creation of annual budgets and reports.
- Timely creation of monthly financial reports and detailed statements for review by Management and the Board.
- Serve as the staff representative to the Finance Committee.
- Supports annual financial statement audit by working directly with auditors and communicate audit progress to Management and Treasurer.
- Any other responsibilities as needed and appropriate to the position.

- Occasional light lifting of no more than 25 pounds, occasional bending to reach file drawers.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is required; familiarity with
Dance Studio Pro software is a plus.
· At least 4 years of continuous service as a full charge bookkeeper.
· Associates degree or relevant work experience.
