Part-Time Communications Coordinator
The Monadnock Region Rail Trail Collaborative (MRRTC) offers an immediate part-time, paid position entitled: Communications Coordinator (CC).
Active, integrated areas of work:
- Interface with Board and subcommittees
- Be MRRTC’s media coordinator for our website, Facebook, and other social media.
- Be our web guru!
- Responsible for press releases; sending articles (written by self and others) to regional (Southwest NH) media, our donors/sponsors and to other relevant media.
- Quarterly MRRTC Eblasts – (Composed of BOD, other contributions, and the CC)
- Work, as needed, with MRRTC vendors on collateral/swag – brochures, t-shirts,etc.
- Maintain donor, sponsor and supporter lists.
Position qualifications:
- Someone who loves the Monadnock Region outdoors & has a connection to the trails.
- A natural team player – enjoys corroborating with others inside and outside MRRTC.
- Creative, self-starter with initiative to put innovative ideas into action or into media.
- Well-versed in social media, database creation/maintenance, and marketing
- Ok with flexible work schedule and some firm deadlines (estimated time commitment is less than 12 hours/month or approximately 3-4 hours/week)
- Good natured / good humored.
- A person looking to make an impact with a truly regional Not-for-Profit with noble goals will love this opportunity.
Note: This position qualifies for job sharing and virtual work although living/working in SW NH is a must. Monetary remuneration is provided via our umbrella organization: Bike Walk Alliance of NH.
