Overview
Rise for baby and family seeks qualified independent contractor to provide project management services for the NBRC-funded Complete Pathway to Career initiative. The project supports early childhood workforce development across Cheshire County through credentialing, higher education pathways, mentoring, professional development, and cross-sector collaboration.

Project Background
The Complete Pathway to Career initiative supports the recruitment, retention, education, and advancement of the early childhood workforce in Cheshire County. Activities include credential attainment, higher education pathways, mentoring, professional development, and workforce supports designed to strengthen the regional early childhood system.

Scope of Work
The Project Manager will coordinate grant implementation, monitor timelines, support partner engagement, track deliverables, and assist with reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain project work plans and timelines.
• Coordinate activities with Rise, Keene State College, River Valley Community College, and community partners.
• Track progress toward grant goals, outputs, and performance measures.
• Maintain documentation supporting grant compliance and reporting.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, notes, and follow-up activities.
• Support data collection and evaluation activities.
• Assist with budget monitoring and contractor coordination.
• Prepare written progress reports and summaries for Rise leadership and NBRC requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field; master’s preferred.
• Three or more years of project management experience.
• Experience managing grant-funded initiatives.
• Experience in education, workforce development, nonprofit management, or early childhood systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Contract Terms
This is an independent contractor position funded through the NBRC Catalyst Program. The anticipated contract period will extend through the grant period, subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. Compensation will be negotiated based on scope of work.
